Upon Re-Opening, Shake Shack will deliver 1,000 free meals to NHS hospitals in partnership with Deliveroo
LONDON 27th April 2020: This week, Shake Shack will re-open its Tottenham Court Road and Canary Wharf Shacks for takeaway and delivery.
The Tottenham Court Road Shack will open on Tuesday, 28th April and the Canary Wharf Shack will open on Thursday, 30th April. Guests are invited to place takeaway orders in the Shacks, or order for home delivery through Deliveroo.
Along with the re-openings, Shake Shack is bringing back its emergency services offer, including all social and community care workers. To show appreciation for those on the frontlines, when any emergency services worker orders a burger, they’ll get another burger on the house. The offer is available for takeaway after providing an ID or employer letter.
Shake Shack is proud to commit to delivering 1,000 free meals to NHS hospitals through delivery partner Deliveroo.
Keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to prioritising the health and safety of its team, guests and community, both Shacks will have strict social distancing measures in place. Some of the measures will include face masks for all team members, floor markers to promote social distancing, contactless pick-up and delivery, and allocated pick-up zones for delivery riders.
Opening hours for Tottenham Court Road and Canary Wharf Shack will be 11:30am to 10:00pm.

We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close all our UK Shacks until further notice, to prioritise the health and safety of our team, guests and community.
Thank you to our dedicated teams who have continued to serve our community during this time.

Starting 20th March, Shake Shack U.K. will temporarily shift to a “to-go” only operating model, as the COVID-19 situation continues to rapidly evolve. Guests will be able to place takeaway orders in the restaurant, or order for delivery through Deliveroo. Out of concern for the well-being of its guests, team members and community, dining rooms will be closed.
All Shacks in the U.K will move towards takeaway and delivery, with the exception of the Covent Garden Shack and Soho Shack which will be takeaway only.
Shake Shack restaurants across the U.K. may also be impacted by closures or reduced hours over the coming weeks.
