Get ready to celebrate Ramadan with us at our Leicester Square and Birmingham Shake Shack! This year, join us for Iftar celebrations with something special – FREE FRIES with your order. 

From Friday 28th February to Sunday 30th March 2025, when you order a Chicken Shack or 6-count/10-count Chicken Bites at Leicester Square or Birmingham Shack, you’ll get a portion of Plain Fries for free. Just order at the till and say “Iftar free plain fries” – it’s that simple!

What is Ramadan?

Ramadan is a month of reflection, community, and seriously good eats! It’s a time when millions of Muslims worldwide fast from sunrise to sunset – no food, no drinks until the evening call to prayer. But it’s about more than just fasting – it’s about gratitude, giving back, and connecting with family and friends.

‘Spread The Light’ in Leicester Square

To celebrate Ramadan, the Aziz foundation is illuminating Coventry Street, on which our Shake Shack Leicester Square is located, with a spectacular aerial display of 30,000+ glowing LED bulbs. These dazzling lights bring cultural diversity, a sense of community, and support for local businesses all around the city. The lights officially kick off Ramadan on Wednesday, 26th February, and the Eid Switch On will mark the end of the month on Monday, 31st March. So, come for the free fries, stay for the lights, and soak up the festive atmosphere!

What is the Iftar Trail? 

This year, our Leicester Square Shack is proud to be part of London’s first Iftar food trail that features exclusive offers at top Halal-friendly spots during Ramadan. 

If you’re out enjoying the lights or looking for the best place to enjoy your Iftar, be sure to stop by and enjoy our Chicken Shack and Chicken Bites, both of which are halal certified.

  1. The free fries offer is available at Shake Shack Leicester Square and Birmingham only. 
  2. To claim the offer, customers must purchase either a Chicken Shack or 6-count/10-count Chicken Bites and quote “Iftar free plain fries” at the till.
  3. The free fries offer must be claimed at the till and cannot be redeemed via delivery, takeaway or kiosk orders. 
  4. The offer is not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or discounts.
